03 August 2017: Meet Paul Woodham

Paul Woodham has recently joined our National Housing Prime team as Regional Manager for the South East. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building, a Chartered Member of the Institute of Housing and a Chartered Quality Professional with over 30 years’ experience in both the private and public sector.

His previous role was Managing Director for Hyde Property Services. The Hyde Housing Group are a G15 registered housing provider covering around 50,000 properties in London and the South East. He developed a five year strategic plan to implement a major transformation programme for them, which included rebranding and restructuring the business, improving their supply chain, for which they were finalists at the World Procurement Awards in 2016, and procured and mobilised a new Contractor Management System.

During his time with Hyde Property Services he worked on systems and supply chain improvement and transformation projects, including the launch of a portal for contractors. This experience is will be put to good use given the ongoing development of our systems and supply chain within housing.

Paul also ran housing contracts for Mitie Property Management within which he implemented a ‘systems thinking’ approach. He has also been a Construction Director, working with a number of new build developers.

Paul is excited to join our organisation and knows that the challenges he faces will keep him busy and focused. He brings a wealth of experience to our Housing team which we hope will be a real benefit to the South East region.

He said, “I believe that there will be some best practice over all the types of environment that I have worked within to help support the great work that CarillionAmey are achieving. Everyone that I have met so far have all been welcoming and generous with their time. The culture of having a collaborative and supportive approach has been extremely evident and I am pleased to have joined a business with this approach. It was extremely important for me to commit to a new role where the culture was a good fit and provided me with new challenges.”
