You may have seen the wider announcements put out by Carillion PLC earlier this week, in essence they will now re-organise to focus on their strengths and are setting out a new approach to doing business with a simplified organisation and a smaller, more effective Group Executive team.
As stated in previous communications the CarillionAmey Joint Venture remains largely unaffected by these changes, so we will continue to focus on the service we provide and delivering value, as we do now.
Except for me leaving CarillionAmey at the end of the month and moving into a new role within Carillion support services there are no planned structure changes within the Joint Venture. The work Carillion do with the Ministry of Defence, and wider Government, is central to their new structure, which I hope provides some reassurance to our people and our customers within Defence Infrastructure Organisation and the Armed Forces. Equally Carillion’s intent to focus on their core strengths and continuous improvement, with more effective group support, will surely benefit their wider business.
