14 September 2017: Many hands make light work – Catterick team volunteer at Nature Reserve

In Catterick, our Regional Prime team, with help from three members of our Customer Service Centre in Speke, recently used their volunteer day to help out at a local Nature Reserve, Foxglove Covert, which is located within Cambrai Barracks, North Yorkshire. Our team cleared sections of undergrowth which included brambles and other vegetation to make space for a brand new net ride that is due to be installed soon.

The team worked quickly and efficiently which left them time to move onto a nearby flower meadow/moorland where they cleared some grass to refine the edging and repaired some rotten kickboards.

A spokesman from Foxglove Covert was over the moon with the results and said “The end result was fantastic and we can’t thank the team enough, especially as three of them travelled from Liverpool to help. We cannot express our gratitude for all the hard work and effort, and thank you to Kevin Stewart, from CA, for arranging the day.”
