26 April 2018: ISS operative awarded Certificate of Appreciation for his work at Windsor Garrison

We recently awarded a Certificate of Appreciation to one of our ISS employees who has devoted twenty five years of dedicated support to the military communities at Windsor Garrison on our Regional Prime South East contract. The support and service he provides to the community is the reason he was awarded with this formal recognition.

John Riley, our Regional Director for the Regional Prime South East, was asked to present the award to Peter Alford, ISS Grounds Maintenance Manager. He is highly regarded by the Household Cavalry Regiment and they invited us to present the award in the Officers Mess, followed by a lunch. Peter Alford was delighted to receive a certificate and an engraved tankard.

Peter Alford received the award as he has directly contributed to the quality of life, standard of living and wellbeing of over 1000 Service personnel and their families. He has shown pride and obligation during his twenty five years at the Garrison and his immaculate attention to detail and commitment to delivering the highest standard is evident, especially during big military events, such as Remembrance Sunday.

He works tirelessly in the background with selfless commitment, loyalty and discipline. Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Mark Berry, Household Cavalry Regiment, said, “Peter has provided outstanding service to the Windsor Garrison community for a quarter of a century and has made a real difference to the quality of life of all who serve here.”
