Last week we were delighted to host an event for our Royal Air Force Service Community Support Officers, along with our partners Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), at our Customer Service Centre (CSC) in Liverpool.
Led by Housing Colonel Staff Warrant Officer Phil Chadwick and Squadron Leader Gail Cowen, they came to improve the relationship between ourselves and RAF personnel. They met new management staff, discussed localised casework and procedures and they took part in a policy update with HQ AIR Staff.
An overview of our business and the journey we’ve been on over the last three years was presented by Head of Helpdesk Services, Will McMaster and then the SCSO’s were given a complete tour of our Customer Service Centre. They were split into four groups and listened in to calls across each department so they could see the way we work and how we handle customer transactions.
The day ended with a brief question and answer session between the SCSO’s, Vicki Ennis, our Occupancy Services Regional Manager, and Sarah Santillo and Jackie Wren from DIO. They discussed any Occupancy Services issues or queries they had with Vicki and directed any questions on DIO policy to Sarah and Jackie.
The event received great feedback from SCSO’s who attended. They said, “It was really valuable to meet my fellow SCSO’s and CarillionAmey staff to talk about the issues common to all of us. It was thoroughly enjoyable and great to meet the team and we’re grateful for all they do for our people. Thank you for everything you do for us, which makes our job so much easier.”
Phil Chadwick also wanted to express his thanks, “Thanks again, from Gail and I in particular, for yesterday – it couldn’t have gone better. There’s something about the warmth of the Liverpool hospitality.”
