As part of the significant changes happening within the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) structure, the senior leadership team held a conference with their Estate Facilities Managers recently. The changes the DIO are making will be important for the Armed Forces to ensure they’re prepared as the infrastructure budgets are delegated to the Defence Top Level Budget holders (TLBs).
Over 200 DIO staff attended the two day conference and the aim was to review the future DIO structures and explore better ways of working to improve the service for customers, suppliers and staff. Jerry Moloney, our Operations Director for the Regional Primes, and his direct team were also invited to join the conference to help improve the way that we work collaboratively with the DIO and offer their perspectives on the Regional Prime contracts.
Jerry Moloney and his team were given the opportunity to present the Regional Prime contracts, and how they work, to the audience. The presentation also included how the contracts are currently performing as well as our reflections on which areas we could improve in following feedback. The conference ended with a question and answer session with our team and the DIO senior team.
Jerry Moloney, Operations Director for the Regional Primes said, “We were delighted to be invited to the two day conference and enjoy some social time with the DIO staff over dinner on the first evening. It was great to get the opportunity to present on how we saw things going, and to talk about the areas where we can support DIO on improvement in the remaining part of our contract. Joining the DIO Senior Team, who took question and answers from the audience at the end of the conference, demonstrated the collaborative working and partnering that we are now seeing across all our contracts.”
